Dr. Alice Hui received her Ph.D. degree in mathematics from the University of Hong Kong. Her research focuses on finite geometry and its applications on coding theory, design theory and graph theory. She is particularly interested in projective geometry, circle geometry, line geometry, and algebraic geometry. Her projects " Non-translation projective planes: towards the prime power conjecture " and " Characterising and classifying ovoids in finite projective space" were funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China.
